Join Jade and Lauren for five nights in the magical landscape of the Cochise Stronghold, in the Dragoon Mnts of southern AZ or at Rune Hill, in the Finger Lakes of Upstate New York. We will wander in the wild territories of this ancestral landscape, welcome our night visitations and share the stories of our lives. Together, we will imagine, dream, wander, and move our soul voices in our rarefied circle of women, encouraging them to grow stronger, more versatile, visual, and audible.
We will learn specific tools and techniques to enhance our writing and create compelling narratives to be shared with the wider world. Our days will unfold through council, wandering in nature, and writing practices in group, dyads, and solitude. We will also dip our toes into the landscape of dreams, ceremony, and experiential practices on the land. Each morning, Jade will lead a uniquely expansive and imaginative guided visualization to open the day in the magical Apache style hogan. Mid-day, you’ll have ample time to explore the magnificent granite bouldered hillsides, cool and enchanting caves, and the cactus, sycamore, and oak studded canyons, accompanied by evocative prompts to guide your journey. Later in the day, we’ll gather to write, using your day’s experiences as rich material, with gentle guidance offered to support and deepen your craft.

Pricing for five nights includes tent camping with your own gear, shared outhouses and an outdoor shower, and healthy, delicious breakfasts and dinners. Our days will unfold through council, wandering in nature, writing practices in group, dyads, and solitude, dreamwork, ceremony, guided visualizations, and spacious time to write and reflect. Each morning, Jade will lead a uniquely expansive and imaginative guided visualization to open the day. Mid-day, you’ll have ample time to explore waterfalls, ponds, white pine–studded meadows, and deep forest floors, accompanied by evocative prompts to guide your journey. Later in the day, we’ll gather to write, using your day’s experiences as rich material, with gentle guidance offered to support and deepen your craft.
For a small nightly fee, you may upgrade from camping to a rustic cabin at Rune Hill. Accommodations include three double cabins and one single cabin.
For those who want cushier accommodations, there is a charming nearby bed-and-breakfast, the Log Country Inn, where we’ve arranged a discounted rate for a house with four bedrooms and a living room couch. Rooms at the Log Country Inn will be held until mid-March, so if you are interested in this option, please sign up early so you can contact the B&B and reserve a room, at your own cost.
